About
Once your book is written and edited, the next step in achieving traditional publication is to submit your manuscript to a literary agent or a publishing house. Every publishing house is a little unique in what they require from your submission, but all of them want your query letter and synopsis.Â
The query letter is your pitch—your chance to advocate for your work and to describe it in terms of genre, subject matter, readership or audience, and its unique value. Basically, you are aiming to convince a publisher or agent that your book should exist in the world.
Now, as a writer myself, I understand how difficult it can be to have the right perspective on your work in order to champion it. It can be a daunting task to write an effective query letter. This is why I offer this service, at an affordable price too, so writers who have poured their heart and talent into a finished and ready manuscript won't get caught up on the query and stall their progress.
I will read your manuscript and write a query letter along with a synopsis of your story. If you have already drafted a query letter, I will revise and edit it and provide feedback on its effectiveness. If you have notes/lines you would like to include in the query, I will happily do so.
